What we collect

Order data — name, email address, billing country, and the details of what you bought.
Payment data — handled by Stripe and PayPal. We receive confirmation of payment and the last four digits of the card. We never see or store your full card number.
Account and access data — your login to the course platform and your progress through the material.
Correspondence — what you send us by email and our replies.

Why we use it, and on what legal basis

To perform our contract with you: taking payment, giving access, providing support, handling refunds.
To comply with legal obligations: keeping accounting and tax records, and anti-fraud checks required of us.
For our legitimate interests: securing the site, preventing abuse, and improving what we offer.
With your consent: marketing emails, where you have opted in. You can withdraw consent at any time.

Who we share it with

Only with providers who need it to deliver the service: our payment processors (Stripe, PayPal), our course hosting platform, our email provider, and our accountants. Each processes data on our instructions under a written agreement. We do not sell your data and we do not share it for anyone else's marketing.

Where a course author needs to deliver a live session or community access, they receive only the minimum needed to do so.

International transfers

Some providers are outside the UK and EEA. Where that happens, transfers are covered by an adequacy decision or by standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep it

Order and accounting records: six years, as UK tax law requires. Account and access data: while your account is active and for one year afterwards. Marketing consent records: until you withdraw consent, plus a short period to prove the withdrawal was honoured.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of your data, to correct it, to delete it, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to receive it in a portable format. Email hello@velescgk.com and we will respond within one month. If you are not satisfied you can complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk, or to your local supervisory authority.

Cookies

This website uses only the cookies necessary for it and the checkout to work. We do not run advertising or analytics cookies on this site. If that changes, they will be set only with your consent and you will be able to change your choice at any time.

Security

Access to personal data is limited to those who need it, accounts are protected by strong authentication, and payment data never touches our systems. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects your rights we will tell you and the regulator as the law requires.

Changes

We will post any update here and change the date at the top. Material changes affecting how we use your data will be notified by email.
